2024.6.24 My Present Tense: I’m studying for Japanese Language Proficiency Exam

N3.  What if I pass?

Here’s the scoop.  Even if I pass, and I didn’t the last time I took N3, even if I pass,

I am still struggling to talk to knowledgeable people about TEA CEREMONY, POTTERY, and WABI-SABI.  As for exquisite moments in Japanese History, Art, and Culture – yes, true, I can watch films.

I can indeed watch films.

Every single time I watch Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai, I always find something new.

This film was made in the year I was born!

I’m OK.  This is my first BLOG POST since the last one.

The mantra for the PRESENT MOMENT:

Today and today and today and today.

Let’s start here and now.

“Time present and time past
Are both perhaps present in time future,
And time future contained in time past.
If all time is eternally present
All time is unredeemable.” (Burnt Norton by T.S. Eliot)
